NZ Angel Association headlined a conference with this theme.

American Capital is absolutely transformative!

What the presenters on this subject at the "Wellington Runway" did not do was to explain "how" to go about attracting this capital into NZ companies. We all know that one of the most effective ways of attracting capital is to "get in front of the people that own it". Something you cannot do sitting in NZ. The Showcase opens this opportunity for NZ companies to go "one on one" with US investors.

Listing is easy. Traction is the key. Lets start!

Step #1: "GET SEEN" (This planned shopfront will do it!)

This is a concept render of the old real estate office that operated from this Ft Lauderdale address. Back in Q1 of 2024 we noted 103 "Walk-ins" over a 90 day "Test the Waters" campaign for a USD5M ASP package in NZ- That's US$515M worth of inquiries - One can only imagine how much interest this "Invest-NZ" Showcase will draw when this shopfront concept becomes reality. Being "seen" is a given.

Step #2: List high priority NZ investment categories

Residential Real Estate Dev

Private Equity, VC, Angel Funds

Private Equity, VC, Angel Funds

Investments into residential housing developments are permitted in the "Balanced" category of permitted foreign investment.

NZ Wide Listing Sponsor Invitation

Listing Sponsors from across NZ are invited to list a range of investments that would qualify for entry to the "Residency-By-Investment" visa program.

Step #4: Startups. US investors seek What's New-not better

Looking for the best in rural NZ

Supported by American sanctuary seeking capital

Step #5: Support the Native economy. Create whenua income.

Natural Infection Control

Extracting NZ tea tree oil natural infection control

Good new! the NZ Govt FDI department supports this project.

Hi Linda,

You're right, "competing" is the wrong word, apologies. Increased exposure for NZ companies is always a good thing.  A sentiment from a senior govt foreign investment staffer who closed their email to me with the following closing statement....

"I wish you all the best for your venture"!

"I wish you all the best for your venture"!

"I wish you all the best for your venture"!

"I wish you all the best for your venture"!
